I've lived in L.A. 14 years and I've never heard of North County. Is it north of here?

Most places that get it seem pretty happy to brag about getting/tapping it on Instagram. Follow your local places and keep and eye out. Same thing on twitter.

Urge in RB had it; don't know if they still have it. But quite frankly, I think that if you are out of the loop on this you aren't doing NC social media well.

So, I need to subscribe to a bunch of networks and follow all the breweries and bars to get my info? I thought asking on BeerAdvocate would save me from all that. Guess not.

So you want people who already do that on their own to skip on over here to BA and update this thread specifically for you every time it's tapped anywhere in the North County area?

    Sounds reasonable.

I don't trust a lot of people here to update things as they happen, if you get my drift. Not quite like with the Younger s#^storm, but similar to that. Safer to just subscribe to a bunch of Twitter and Facebook feeds.

For all those places that Nelson tapped last week in LA/OC its all gone now. It lasted only for a day or two. I'm sure some more will pop up here and there this week or next. So do your homework. By the way, it was Nelson-licious!!

    From the FullPint.com:
Alpine Beer Co. Officially Announces Green Flash Brewed IPAs
    http://thefullpint.com/beer-news/alpine-beer-co-officially-announces-green-flash-brewed-ipas/

The interesting part of this article is at the end (pasted below):

A note to our friends we have been delivering beer to for the past 12 years. It is with a fair amount of sadness that we can no longer bring you our yummy goodness straight from the brewery. The distribution agreements, and in all fairness to the distributors, having them handle deliveries is just the right thing to do. We selected these distributors because of their stellar reputation and ability to respond to your needs. Placing orders through them is easy, numbers listed above. And, if you have an issue you can’t resolve with them please don’t hesitate to contact me for assistance.

    Thank you,
    Patrick McIlhenney

Looks like some accounts are gonna get screwed, but at least (hopefully) distribution of their bottles will be better/more regular/consistent/etc.

Popping up around town and it's really lovely. I had 3 Nelsons at the brewery 2 weeks ago and I prefer this batch because of the aroma levels.

Will be interesting how/if they distribute Keene Idea and Bad Boy or leave it all up on the mountain.

Given that article, I wouldn't expect much of a change on either of those.

After seeing the Keg lables it looks like only

    Nelson
    Duet
    Hoppy Birthday

    are on the agenda.

I could be wrong but i know it took them a long time to get that approved

I'm thinking the same. Especially since it's Artisan Ales who, apparently take pretty good care of their clients. I think the only difference will be that Toronado and Obriens might get their 99 kegs a week a day or two less fresh.
I believe that's always been their intention. The Full Pint article says they'll more or less be doing one batch a month of one of those sequentially, so people can look forward to a May full of Duet and a June of Hoppy Birthday.

How does Green Flash match the exact water profile? Are they capable of doing it?
