Alpine brewing at Green Flash?

I hope this isn't getting to you too late - Blind Lady Ale House in Normal Heights tapped a keg of Nelson today, and it's been on at Toronado in North Park for the last few days. It went on at Cali Kebab (Amplified Ale Works) in Pacific Beach the other day, but I'm not sure if they're open today. San Diego pro tip: most beers at Cali Kebab are half off M-Th from 3-6 pm, Nelson included (as long as it's on!)

 

Nelson was still on at 38 Degrees yesterday afternoon; bartender said they had about half a keg left.

 

Library Alehouse had Nelson, and it seems like they'll have again based on their "for now" caveat on Facebook when the keg was kicked.

 

we got a bunch of kegs at tiger tiger also, so its been on the entire weekend and should still be on today

 

I ended up finding it at 2 different places on my SD trip. Thanks guys

 

It looks like duet is beginning to make its rounds...

 

All over LA now...as good as I can remember.

 

Hoping to see a post from Library soon about Duet; haven't had it in awhile and definitely want to grab a few pours.

 

Am I seeing right? BP has both Nelson & Duet on?

 

yea...not sure why the hell that Nelson keg has lasted so long. i think they pulled it off a couple nights which they do sometimes when it's $4 tuesdays

 

Anyone want to meet at Out of the Park Pizza for 16$ pints of Duet after work? First quarter of a pint is on me.

 

Lets hope we dont have this madness again.

Kegs are showing up everywhere the past few weeks, bottles of the big 3 appearing on the reg...I'd be lying if I said I didn't have a tear in my eye right now.

I had Duet at Churchills for lunch today- it was every bit as delicious as I recall it to be.

 

LOL. Beachwood Seal Beach has Duet for $6 per pint. Go there instead and boycott OOTPP.

Hoppy Birthday popping up all over now. Had a delightful pint at Neighborhood. Super fresh tasting, seems like the partnership is working out just dandy.

 

Just had Hoppy Birthday on tap at Provisions Market in Orange. Definitely not what I remember it to be when I originally had it at SD Toronado years ago. Not sure what's the deal, but the intensity and deliciousness just wasn't there. Very watery I would say.

Hopefully ny exerpeince was the exception, not the rule. Based on my glass, major letdown.

 

I had alpine hoppy birthday last weekend brewed at alpine , amazing as always . I had Green flash hoppy birthday on draft at small bar yesterday I have to agree something was missing a bit too watery. Of the three green flash brews the closest and pretty damn close to a clone was duet. The alpine a bit darker , hazier and more bitter than original nelson
