Alpine brewing at Green Flash?

Just saw Hoppy Birthday's arrived at Library Alehouse... bummed I can't get over there until the weekend. But for those near Santa Monica who can get over there -- here's your heads-up.

 

Had the Green Flash Hoppy Birthday today. Awesome. Would bang again.

 

Had it at Hermosillo a couple days ago...thought it was killer. Had it at the brewery not that long ago and I couldn't tell a major difference. Certainly nothing negative.

 

Had Hoppy Birthday at City Beer Store today and it was intense and anything but watery.

 

It's as good as ever. Might be the fact you haven't had it in years.

 

Had some HB at Beer Belly in LA while I was up at E3. Seemed to taste the same to me.

 

The next round of Alpine Nelson should be showing up around the SoCal area. Found one spot in the OC area that has the next batch of Nelson on tap. I'll wait till it shows up a little closer to home. Let's keep the ABC IPAs flowing here.

Damn cannot edit post. Welp..guess I will be at EAH around 4ish or so naxiously awaiting the great tapping on this glorious day of days. Also probably sipping on my free slurpee because happy 7/11 everyone.

 

wonder when LA is getting the kegs. No updates on taphunter from 38 degrees, Lucky Baldwins yet.

 

Tustin was/is doing tulips for $7.50. They are reasonably sized tulips, perhaps 14 oz.

Beachwood Long Beach has it for $6 for a proper pint.

OOTP has it now also. They posted a picture of it on their Facebook in a full pint glass, so maybe they learned their lesson. No word on what they are charging for that pint glass though, lol.

 

BWLB HOp Cam is empty.

 

Tustin's keg blew, I am such a Nelson hog. Lasted nearly 48 hours though, not bad.

 

The Rookery in Pomona has Nelson as of last night. A pint for $6, can't beat that price.

 

Had some at Beachwood last night. Had a lot of goodies on tap. That and Modern Times Black House on nitro mmm

 

Linx in the Orange Circle posted yesterday that they had it for $9 a pour (not sure of size) - mark that down as a place that I won't go to.
