I fail to see how I am off-base in this thread when the options are bring up the issues to them or quit buying bottles. If someone is that unhappy with the production those are very simple solutions. Maybe if bottles with issues lingered around their brewery, they would get the point.

But as we've established, them seeing the issue presented to them hasn't changed matters. Everyone here likes Alpine and wants them to fix quality control issues.

I think it depends who you deal with there, I for one have had two issues with bottles.
    1. Great - Had a bottle with a cracked neck that was slowly leaking, brought it back up there and they replaced it.
    2. Nelson - Tons of shit at the bottom of the bottle, went back and they were out of Nelson so swapped it for a Pure Hoppiness.

Oh and both times, the one person I avoided was Steve when trying to get it resolved. Much easier to talk with the staff in the pub to get things fixed.

I do agree that they need to go about handling business better, not only QC but customer service.
They would benefit greatly by having someone with actual social skills handle complaints and other customer related issues.

This is a very interesting thing to say, especially after your earlier posts in this thread.

I was just trying to remember when their brew date was. That means there should be an extra 500 kegs of Nelson in the wild within a couple weeks, right?

I love the image of feral kegs of Nelson roaming up and down the Southern California coast.

I thought the brewers there were Pat and his son, though?

Really ? You better check your facts before going on a international beer board with that kind of ignorant statement.

I saw that. I'm pretty shocked. I don't remember the last time this was the case.

Saw pictures of Nelson kegs popping up on Instagram today (one by 38 Degrees, the other at Library Alehouse)...both kegs say "Brewed and Kegged by Green Flash...for Alpine Beer Co." on them.
