I purchased some on Sunday at green flash and I was pleased. First time I had been there in about 3 years, so that tells you how I feel about them....but again, the Nelson was good.

Plus you're still literally supporting Green Flash by buying from Alpine directly, since Alpine is owned by GF and all.

While you qualify the end of your statement nicely. It also seems contradictory. If you really have a "general disgust for GF" continuing to support a subsidiary of theirs and the over all bottom line of the parent company isn't really "giving them the finger" Personally if I do not agree with a company or that company's practices I stop supporting them by no longer purchasing their products. Just my .02 please feel free to disregard.

Yeah, it makes no sense...of course I haven't really bought any of the main 4 in pretty much forever. Sadly I can't ever stop drinking bad boy and HFS and buying that will still support the parent company. I basically fail at properly giving any parent company the finger. I will stand firm initially, but that act will usually fade in about a week when I decide that the effort I am putting forth to stop supporting is infinitely more time-consuming than just drinking the beer I want.

Sense-making, I do not, but somehow I make it seem logical in my mind.

At least you admit it, as opposed to the guys who make angry forum threads bashing companies for selling out then go line up for their next hype release.

I am in SD tomorrow on biz so I called to see of bottles were available as well, I was told not for the forceable future. Hoping this is a good batch, miss my Nelson fix.

Was down at Alpine on Saturday and they had just tapped the most recent batch of Nelson. It's good, it's damn good. My buddy and I both agreed it was like old times.

Looking back, I wish I filled more than 1 64oz growler of Nelson but they had so much awesome stuff on tap, I had to branch out. Babyface, Hop Boxed, HFS, Singled Out variants, etc.

So stoked to pick up new bottles of Hop Boxed today ! I was told that HFS is next in line for bottles,I was told these were brewed at the source with all new packaging, tasting great. Filled up growlers with HFS, Singled Out W/Citra and the tasty new batch of Nelson.

    Cheers…..

Do bottles of Hop Boxed or Nelson make it to any beer stores in the Encinitas area? I have someone who lives there coming to visit me next week and I'm making a list of beers for him to look for.

Do they sell Alpine bottles at GF? If so, is Hop Boxed there?
