Are you seeing somewhere that Nelson is going to be available soon? Feels like it's been forever.

 

Pretty sure they said on FB it's scheduled to be available on the 13th or so.

 

Got my two KH (funny cause I've got a King Henry I'm trying to trade for a DB Huna) but I wish we could start picking up this weekend seeing as how I'm going down this weekend. Guess two trips to San Diego the next two weeks!

I'll be in SD on 1/17 picking up my Modern Times sours... hopefully there is still some Nelson available.

My buddy got his 1 at a time like you, but his confirmation numbers WERE different.

 

I called and they said it shouldn't be a problem. I may just check with BPT to be safe though. I was charged for two, so?

I ordered one bottle two separate times and got two different confirmation emails from BPT but only got one confirmation number (both emails had the same number). I also have two charges on my cc. I emailed BPT and they said I was double charged and unfortunately it was showing 'sold out' so I'd have to contact the brewery for a refund of the second charge. Bullshit.

 

So, i'll be visiting the Pub this coming Sunday because it looks like the Brewery is closed on Sundays. Is it still worth the trip? I'll be down there to pick up some stuff from Alesmith and Modern Times. Is there somewhere I can check what bottles they are selling? Any other info will be helpful, thank you!

 

Yes and no about being worth the trip. Best place to see what bottles they are selling is here - http://brewerycam1.alpinebrewing.com/view/viewer_index.shtml?id=9382. They have a spot for bottles on there (this is from the brewery for growlers as well). I know it's dark now, but check in the day time. Obviously the brewery is closed on Sunday, so there's a slight chance some bottles will sell from Saturday night to when you get there Sunday, but should give you a good idea.

On the no side. I believe Nelson is coming back on Tuesday, but with all the people coming to pick up the Kiwi Herman, they are most likely going to pick up some bottles of Nelson, Duet and/or Pure Hoppiness, and the "Big Three." I'd just check on Friday or Saturday and see the availability. Good luck!

 

It looked like Pure Hoppiness was out of bottles today so my hope that the "big three" would be available next tuesday might be a no go. Duet was bottled recently so those should hang around and Nelson is said to be bottled tomorrow and available on the 13th. Not official, just what they posted on their FB page as a projected date.

 

Yea, I asked them on Fri and they said they'd have Nelson bottles Tues.

Does Alpine bottles make it up to San Francisco? Or anywhere near download LA?

I'm heading to SF Beer week from the UK and would love to try some of their beers...
