Same here. No way in hell I'd go on Saturday even if they were putting it on. I'm sure it is going to be insane lol

 

I am sure the line to get a table will be like a bottle release in itself.

 

I'd love to see a picture of how the line looks when they open You probably would have to be there 2-3h before to get a chance for a table.

 

How bad do you think Sunday will be?

 

My guess is that Sunday will be the same. I would just try and get there as early as possible to grab a table.

Like starving children lined up at the back of a red cross van....

 

Now I feel real bad since I laughed at this. But then I also pictured what would be Tiny Tim walking up to the bar with an empty pint, "Please sir...may I have another?" Ah hahahahahaha, I'm so going to hell.

 

Wondering if I should get in line at the brewery or the pub first. I want to get a couple pours of Kiwi on draft, but I also want to secure Nelson & Duet bottles. I'm thinking Kiwi will be more of a risk of running out than the bottles. Thoughts?

 

I'm curious as to why you're all so convinced there's going to be a massive line both days. Is it because so many people still need to pick up their bottles or because you think so many people know it's supposed to be on and want it?

 

Because everyone that isn't local is going to be coming Saturday or Sunday

A trifecta of wanting to try Kiwi on draft, pick up bottles of kiwi, and fresh nelson being available.

 

And even if none of that were the case, Alpine is always super busy on Saturdays (maybe Sundays – haven’t been though).

 

That's fair. But we don't know how many non-locals were actually able to get bottles and haven't gone. Maybe it's just wishful thinking on my part because I really don't want to have to get there at 8AM tomorrow to get a seat at the bar.

 

I'm already in line. They're releasing Vanilla Rye tomorrow morning right?

 

If you actually want a seat inside, I recommend showing up early. Just to compare, on Tuesday every seat inside was taken the moment they opened.....on a Tuesday at 11am. Just saying.

 

For sure. I wasn't expecting to get there at 11 and find a seat at the bar. But like I said, it's mostly wishful thinking as I really don't want to have to be there at 8AM. Guess I'll just see.

 

There was a line for the pub on Wednesday morning. I have never seen a line for the pub, granted I never go to the pub on weekends.
