Great beer for one of the real good guys in the fine beer and wine biz, love this IPA, congrats to Geoi and Alpine.

FWIW, the Big 3 are all available in bottles right now, which hasn't been seen in months. Seriously considering a day trip.

 

Keene on tap at the brewpub too.

 

Do it! Worth it if you can get all 3. Even 2 with growler fills is worth it.?ill be heading the opposite direction in a couple of weeks to KRBC for some Citra in pints. And enjoying the atmosphere there. So I won't be heading south to Alpine till Dec or Jan.

 

Was there yesterday, was fun to see all 3 IPAs available in bottle, stopped in the pub for Keene Idea which is amazing as usual.

Was there as well yesterday. Wednesdays at Alpine FTMFW. $13 dollar pitchers of Nelson!?!?! And me and my buddy coming home with 18 bottles of Alpine IPAs didn't suck either.

 

Anyone know if Keene Idea is still on tap?

 

Not sure about the pub but………according to OTB they had it in the pub a few days ago.

Screw Keene, go get some Hoppy Birthday! That's probably my fav Alpine brew. Hell, I might go out there now for that!

 

I wouldn't screw Keene. But I would prefer HB over it.

I'm still chasing that first batch, which was out if this world. Hoppy Birthday won out today.

 

Keene and Hoppy Birthday on tap in the brewpub as of yesterday afternoon. Hoppy Birthday was on for fills at the brewery. Should still be available Tuesday.

 

Both still pouring at the brewpub.

 

I'll be there Friday. Would be pretty pumped if Keene Idea was still on but that's probably not realistic.

 

Probably not, and it might not be realistic that Hoppy Birthday makes it that long.

Are they distributing bottles up to LA ? Word is Nelson was hitting sherman oaks WF .. Stopped by today and now one knew shit about beer ..

 

Alpine doesn't really distribute. A few shops get Alpine stuff because they have relationships with Alpine. For that reason I'm not going going to no, but I doubt it.

You sure it wasn't Nelson Showers that you heard? Nelson Showers just came out again.
