My Sister and my brother-in-law are trekking out to Napa again next week from NY, and along with the usual stops at RR/Lagunitas/Bear Republic, they would love to find a place that stocks some Alpine bottles or maybe a place that has a tap or two from this great brewery. Local BA's, does Alpine make any appearances in this area of CA?
Never heard of it that far North. I've picked up bottles at Beer Rev in Oakland, but I have not idea if they have any currently. Other than that Bottles in El Sobrante might have some left, but fair warning you will pay over the odds (and then some) at Bottles - $15 for Nelson last time I was in there.
Russian River is a given. This will be their third trip out there. Last time was for Younger day. Figured I'd ask for him. Looks like it's going to be non existent in that part of CA.
How far are you willing to travel? It sometimes shows up at a particular sketchy store that (probably illegally) resells what they buy at the pub.
