Just saw Elites Facebook post that said they were getting a shipment in March. Anyone know if this is a one time thing?

Haven't heard officially, but if they're piggy-backing off of Green Flash then I'd bet it'll be continuous. Maybe not a whole bunch at first, though.

Alpine's going all over the place now... They've already made it to AZ, CT, and VA I believe. Draft only so far in those states. But I'm psyched!

Unfortunately I think it's the Green Flash brewed Alpine, and not Alpine brewed Alpine, which from what I have heard is noticeably different. However, for us non-Californians who don't have access to Alpine Alpine on a regular basis, it probably won't matter. Certainly worth trying.

I concur on Nelson, it's a pretty tasty beer when super fresh. Alpine seems to be going everywhere Green Flash is now that they're one and the same. Buddy in MA/Boston just got some there too.

I've liked all three so far, and don't see much difference between these and the ones brewed at Alpine. Last time I had PH was 2011 or 2012, but it was fantastic.

The Hoppy Birthday I had on tap recently at Falling Rock was a malty mess. Much disappoint

Anyone else think a lot of beers change when they get mass produced? (Alpine for one, Death by Coconut another.... to name a few)....

I hope it's not a sign of the direction craft beer is headed because of increased demand.

Had DbC on tap at Oskar Blues 2 weekends ago and it was fantastic. Had it out of a can 3 days later and I could barely taste the coconut... :slight_frown:

You can find bombers of Nelson and Duet in Denver. I've seen them at Mr B's and some other places. I think they are limited though. I am looking forward to 6 packs. I bought a bomber of Duet and Nelson and they taste just as good as when I get it on draft at Falling rock or Freshcraft.

I picked up a couple of the 19oz cans last night and thought the same thing. I also had it in the summer and thought this was slightly better in terms of coconut taste. Did you get the 4pack? I was curious what the date was on those because the stovepipes were from 9/17/15.
