$7.50 for 12 oz of an IPA that is now available year round is not a fair price. And since you seem intent on driving away business consider mine and everyone I know in the north OC gone.

No kidding, Obsidian - that sort of misrepresentation is almost criminal. I think in light of your evidence, OTB owes the BA community and especially you an apology.

Hey Ootpizza - are we going to get a rebuttal now, or are you simply going to disappear like all the other douchebags that have been caught lying in the past? Or is this going to be your bartender being "confused"?

    That's still a shitty price, I paid $6 for a pint.

What's the real story here? Prices are being reported all over the place for this one beer at the same bar. Are the bartenders being given different directions by multiple people? Are regulars getting the better deals?

12oz for $7.50 is $10 per pint, nearly double the price of other places.

When I was there is was $7.50 for 8 ounces. Everyone was getting the same pour, either half a pint glass or a short filled tulip. After many people questioned it, the bartender started telling people in advance that they were only doing 8 ounces. Here is another pic some dude posted on Untappd around the same time we were there.

Ah, if that is a "true pint", which we often don't see. Those often end up being somewhat smaller than 16 oz.

True Pints are rare, but those 8 oz pours does not help overpricedPizzas argument.

Glendale Tap had it for $4/pint during happy hour (I had a couple). That means it would be $6/pint normally. GT is quickly becoming one of my favorite spots in the area. Glad I got 32oz for $8 whereas as some other places are enjoying cashing out on hype.

Yeah I wont be going back here. The Goose Island event a bit ago was a shit show. And way over priced. Glad i have better places closer to me as they will be getting my business more. I 100% believe that it was $7.50 for 8oz because of what i saw at migration week over there so no thanks.

They have a very interesting operating procedure.

I also see they're hiring delivery drivers. Maybe a BA can get the job and do some undercover work.

Also, is the pizza any good here?

"And since it happen [sic] to be the only keg in California I think we can set what ever price we think is fair."

What a lovely and telling response.

I heard the bourbon county night was a cluster along with being hella expensive. I assumed that prices would be fair since the LA Migration Week events were fairly priced but it didn't seem to carry over into OC. Not surprised they were trying to short change on the Nelson pours.

Yeah Pizza was good. Just the beer isn't worth it at that price. And the point of them getting rare beer kegs shouldn't be to charge more it should be to drive traffic into your establishment so they also order the other stuff

Exactly! I thought most businesses operated under this pretext; obviously I'm naive.

I guess i expect a rare beer to be a little more than some of the regular swill but Nelson isn't even rare, its going be around a lot more now, and i would expect maybe a dollar or 2 more for a rare pour but at out of the park they were doing $7 for 4 oz. And then started doing 8 oz pours but didn't let us know that we were going to be paying $14 for them. Now that's crazy

So it sounds like the moral of the story is: Out of the Park Pizza, inside the park prices.
