    Started a new thread because the other one was a tad big.

    Keene Idea coming out tomorrow. Only in the brewpub, no growlers. Also, they are *still* out of growlers in general, so you are out of luck if you were looking to buy one.

    Had one of my remaining bottles of Chez Monieux recently and it stunk to high heavens but it tasted pretty good.

    I hope the new Chez isn't awful. It's going to be a huge gamble to trust it is worth the cost.

    I don't know. Chez Monmie was incredible. It's really only Chez Monieux that was bad.

    I'll go ahead and answer. No. No it isn't. This forum is suppose to encompass Hawaii to Alaska. It doesn't need this many threads about a what might as well be a a nano brewery. Shut up and drink the beer. (can i get that trademarked?)

    it's a brewery in the biggest beer city by far in the region this forum covers. it is also one of the best breweries in that city (and the world) and one that attracts a large amount of interest. keene idea is one of the highest rated beers in the world and people are going to travel from hours away for it. lots of people want to know what's going on at alpine. i live 500 miles away and i want to know.

    Wow - you really misread that, didn't you? They were responding to a Facebook poster named "Faceless". LOL

    I'm guessing they are throwing out another batch of Ugly for their next release. Just a guess, though.

    500 miles away? Rookie. I'm planning on going to Alpine on Friday the 4th and I live 2800 miles away.
    Oh yeah, the San Diego trip has been planned for months.
    How freakin' lucky would I be to score some Keene Idea.
    Please tell me I don't need any luck if it's being released on Thursday and I'm going Friday.
