This is a good time to point out that finding an equitable trade and "winning" a trade are not the same.

Well, in terms of finding a beer of equal deliciousness as Great, the options are few and far between. If you just want a beer that is fucking stupendous, drink the Great. However if looking for an opportunity to get some beer you might never again have ammo to land, then Leschkie is right, Great will land whales for sure. I know because I have been trying unsuccessfully to land one for a while now $4$ equal rarity, just don't have the ammo for that.

What years was Great bottled? I know it was bottled in '05 and '08 (obviously from this thread), but was it bottled any other years?

Yeah heard about that, looking forward to it!

When was the last time it was bottled?

If you visit the brewery to buy beer, look to the left of the counter. There is a barrel with a Post-it note stapled to it with the word "Great" on it.

Steve said I could have the barrel if I could carry it out on my own. I need to lift, more.

    Thanks for the info!

I know it's a brewery only release, but anyone have any idea what range the bottle count this year (or year's past) might be?

It was somewhere between "going downhill" and "bad" in my super duper humble opinion. I haven't had the 08 in awhile but good lord was that beer good.

There are 6 51 gallon barrels filled with it. Who knows what angel's share will be or how much they will bottle.

Which was the one that got opened at Gonzo's place in the fall? I could have sworn someone opened a "Great" that day...

Since I know you will buy at least 3x worth of the allotment. I would happily carry the barrel out for you for 1 bottle. srs.

I reserve that list for people who I couldn't possibly trust.... like MarkIntihar.... seems shady.....

I wish we could see a 4 -5 year old sample of the trading forum. maybe 50 or 60 threads.
No speculation, little bickering, no trade police.

Overall a much nicer and more generous era. These threads are why trading now sucks.
