Alpine Great

I traded a Alesmith BA Wee Heavy for one and trade one for CL Barrel Select Batch 1 but rumor has it that it should be released next year so it might be easier then.

 

I traded two Dark Lords for one, and would do it again in a heartbeat if I had more DL. Amazing beer, pity it only comes in a small bottle.

 

I was told a few months back that there's another batch about to come out soon.

 

2009 came in 12oz bottles.

 

The first release was a 750ml and I believe the second release is a 355ml

 

First release was a 500 ml

 

It's in 4 barrels at the brewery right now. Filled over summer.

 

Wish I knew someone in Southern California...

 

So does this mean the release will be sometime in the summer of 2013? They're aged for 12 months, if I recall. So hard to figure out Alpine's releases since they keep them so low profile. I don't even get email newsletters from them anymore.
