Alpine draft has arrived at TJs, I assume elsewhere too.

So does anyone remember what exactly we are getting? Draft only in limited quantities?

I'm so excited to try Duet on draft, one of my favorite IPAs ever that I could never get.

I'm assuming it's going to be the same as NJ. We got Duet, Nelson, Hoppy Birthday, Alpine Ale and Captain Stout back in March/April. I saw Whole Foods in Plymouth Meeting had a couple of kegs last week and I think a friend of mine checked into Duet and maybe Nelson.

Yeah, it made it to Pittsburgh for Craft Beer Week, which was mid-April. Looks like Green Flash is really making a hard push into a lot of new areas with the Alpine line.

Just before Pittsburgh Craft Beer week, Nelson, Duet, Hoppy Birthday, Alpine Ale, Captain Stout, and McIlhenney's Irish Red made appearances in the area; Duet is still available in some area Giant Eagles. Was concerned it was only for PCBW, but it sounds like Alpine may be settling into our state for good.

I've seen both Duet and Hoppy Birthday in multiple places. Would really like to find Nelson to compare bottles to kegs.

Eagerly awaiting Nelson as well, because I missed it during PCBW. Not aware of it being on current draft lists in the Pittsburgh area at present.

Seeing Duet on draft in NEPA. Cooper's in Scranton has it.

Does anyone know if it's supposed to hit NYS?

It did Hit in western NY before it hit PA. I think by a couple weeks.

Gonna keep my eyes out for bottles. Good info so far, I'm hoping GF keeps the distribution channels open.

They will. I am sure they intend to capitalize on their investment as much as possible.

Pretty sure the bottles are not being distributed, just kegs.

Got to try a bunch on NJ a few months ago...Duet and Nelson were the standouts, I could drink them all day. Hoping these beers become a common thing around these parts because they came and went...

I'll be curious to hear what you think when you try it (the Duet). A lot of folks out here seem to think it's a pretty different tasting beer, now that GF is brewing it for Alpine. I thought it was pretty good when I had it a couple weeks ago, but had to agree that it tasted a bit different from what I recalled when Alpine made it.

Fine with me, I'll just have to buy a keg then

As soon as Jeff puts it on tap, I'll be over trying some. I'll let you know what I think @John_M. Duet is the one IPA that I have been pining for.

I know you weren't asking me but my take, having Duet and Hoppy Birthday on draft I thought that the Duet seemed pretty close to the bottles I've had of it, which is fantastic. I thought the Hoppy Birthday seemed much more bland, thin and watered down.

Not a problem at all. I posted my comment at Keith because I've known him for a pretty long time, and have great respect for his palate, especially when it comes to IPA's.

But of of course this is BA... anyone is always free to jump in. :-)
