I need to change states to a town that has only like 2-3 breweries max. Then the drive for limited releases will quickly dwindle into something that would almost appear as acceptable.

 

Yeah, snow sucks and I get cold at like 50degrees. BUT, I would be closer to steak n shake and white castle for when I want to destroy my insides.

If Fou Foune was a one off Cantillon release with under 1k bottles I don't think it would have sat around for months either. Seems like a silly comparison.

 

First keg was gone by noon, so probably won't have to witness that, for better or worse. Upside is the current batch of Nelson is ridiculous.

 

As long as they were far from being the last bottles they had and at that price point, I would definitely have done the same. I would have spread the love back in the States though. And yes, that avatar creeps me the f out. Well done!

 

Surely there's some irony to be had in bemoaning the thirst for limited release brews in the US, only to mention stocking up on a beer that has achieved its fame in large part due to those same US beer drinkers. Buying your limited release stuff in another country doesn't get you off the hook for contributing to the madness.

 

Yeah, I liked the previous one better too. More appropriate.

 

Kiwi is good. Great blend of hop and sour. Wish the sweetness of the strawberry came through more. But you're right, this batch of Nelson is so so good

 

I want a Nelson so bad right now. This work day is going to go so much slower now...

 

Anyone who arranged a pre-trade to receive Kiwi Herman is going to be very happy. Better than Monus.

 

Who cares! It definitely is not better than a 4pack of Zombie Dust which I'm trading my Kiwis for.

I feel bad for any pre trades on this beer. Screw the hype train. It's going to take a lot for me to trade away my bottles.
