Just saying what it was when I drove by right after it opened. It might be all the way down to the 8 by now.

 

Are you planning on going to Alpine today too? Too much crap to swing by Council and grab one with you and Hanson. He said he wasn't staying long anyway.

 

Naw, not planning on alpine today for fear of getting a table and never leaving. Hansen already took off from council and we are nearing our end some the better half is hungry

 

i forgot to bring my printout (i printed the wrong thing) and I just showed them the tickets on my phone, they had no probs

 

I love that my phone auto-corrected Hansen to Hanson!

 

I picked up earlier during the week, brought my tickets with me, and they didn't even want to see the tickets. Just said to hand over my ID and went from there.

 

I'm in SD for my birthday weekend hitting up some places I haven't had the chance to try before (Modern Times and Rip Current -- both awesome). Anyway, I'm trying to figure out if I should head over to Alpine now or wait until tomorrow morning. Hanging out for a while and grabbing food would be ideal. Thoughts/advice?

 

Either one would be fine. I assume KwH on draft is gone for the day and possibly it will be on tomorrow. Depends if that's what you want or if you want it less crowded?

 

Yes it is, it just explodes on every level. Whatever Sean did to this batch I hope he continues doing the same.

Make sure it's a card. I had lost mine when Expo came out and I had various credit cards with my picture/name on it as well as the paper temporary license that the DMV gives you and they denied me being able to pick up my bottles because of it telling me it was too risky for their beer license to give me the beer I paid for.

Even though I just had a couple of pints at the restaurant 5 minutes before. Go figure.

Anybody who says this beer isn't at the top of their fruited sours list, tag your username here so I can dis-regard all your other reviews, lol Kidding aside, Kiwi is for real, hype aside.

 

I was there yesterday. I normally would be there 15~30 minutes before opening on a regular Saturday, but my friend really pushed to getting there early. Glad we got there at 9:50am..2nd in line, but by 10:30 the line was past the brewery. Great beer. Didn't score bottles so I'm glad to have tried it on tap.

By the way, if anyone is wondering...it was a 3 pour maximum of kiwi yesterday.

 

No line and Kiwi is pouring.

 

I've seen heaven, and it's wonderous

 

Beer was so good. Glad I got my fill yesterday. Wouldn't trade it but that's just me.
