Alpine Nelson

I guess we got another shipment in recently. In Austin, Easy Tiger and Draughthouse have both had kegs of Alpine tapped in the last 3-4 days.

 

Anyone know when bottles start to hit?

 

I would be surprised if it was anytime soon.

 

Pure Hoppiness 6ers are supposed to be coming in November. I assume the bombers of other beers will be around that time as well. The release didn't have a specific date, just said 4Q.

 

Growltorf lists that they have Alpine Pale Ale right now. I know they had another Alpine beer recently. Might be worth keeping an eye on both locations to see if they get a keg for some nice growler fills.

 

we don't even get the 6ers in CA, that sounds nice

 

From what I understand, the 6pk format is a one-time-only thing - hasn't been done before...

 

Flying saucer Austin just tapped a keg.

 

this must be the green flash influence. i think all of the bottled alpine beer was still being brewed by alpine, while the kegs for distro were handled by green flash. i'm guessing these sixers will have to be brewed by green flash.

 

it's the only place approved.

 

Supposed to be the end of this month in Norcal hopefully. Maybe beginning of November.
