Alpine-New Belgium Super IPA Release

Super IPA is $5.99 at BevMo and now in stock for realz.

 

So is this going to be distributed everywhere that New Belgium is distributed or is my best bet to pick some up in Denver when I am in town?

 

And its not on the shelves in Denver yet. Pathetic.

 

I was just at New Belgium's taproom and that's cheaper than they were selling it for ($6.99). Crazy.

Did try it there on tap and quite enjoyed it.

 

So I heard from a local source that this won't be released in Denver until Tart Lychee is all gone. That's a terrible way to handle this beer and if it doesnt hit next week I'll be skipping it, who wants to drink old IPA?

 

and it is already hitting in other states? WTF!

 

I was told it would it next week by a very reputable source....wtf is going on here!?

I might just drive to Ft. Collins to get some at this rate!

I don't remember them waiting for Biere de Mars to leave the shelves before putting the Tart Lychee or Brett Beer up, or for the Tart Lychee/Brett Beer (whichever one came first) before putting the other up. Why the stance now....for an IPA nonetheless.

 

I was told this too, just yesterday as a matter of fact.

 

That's odd as most of the stores I frequent have been out of Tart Lychee for a while now. Where is this back log of Tart Lychee located???

 

Ok, WTF, people in NC saying it was already distributed there... And we're 60 miles from the brewery.

I also haven't seen Lychee around for a while.

 

Yea I just mentioned NC because it's on the opposite coast from Alpine and pretty much the furthest from Fort Collins, I know it's out in CA too.

 

It's not that the beer is still on the shelves, it's that the distributor (Coors) still has the Lost Abbey Collab Brett Beer in the warehouse (as well as Tart Lychee, which would hold up the G Love Collab).

 

Well if I dont see it this week I will probably go up to Fort Collins.

 

I'll check Greality this weekend as well. Seems LoF beers hit one of my shops earlier than most.

 

I might be taking a trip to FC tomorrow. Is there a limit at the brewery? If I go I don't mind bringing some back.
