What's this Alpine Unique IPA all about? Had a couple of pours at the new Mikkeller DTLA the other day. I thought it was good stuff. Kinda reminded me of OG Nelson back in the day. Is this Alpine brewed or another GF brewed? Which ever, I thought it was worthy of 2 pours or more.......
    Have you had this @OTB?

It's a hazy rye ipa. Aka hazy Nelson basically. Brewed by alpine. It's only been distro at pub, toronado n now Mikkeller

Yeah I kinda figured it was a Nelson style with the rye IPA. Loved it. Need me some growler fills of it. Maybe if its on at the old location in Alpine. So now I like Windows Up and Unique.

There is no "they" as in alpine. Alpine was bought by Green Flash. So Green Flash is making the money.

I don't know why every beer acquisition uses the term "partnership". You're being bought out but your crew is allowed to stay on working. That's not a partnership.

If you're going to make the run to Alpine, a pit stop at Burning Beard in El Cajon is well worth it.

    Exactly......
I thought it was really good. Like Alpine Nelson good. They also had the Mikkeller/Alpine/Arts Dist. collab on and I had a taster of that......went with 2 pours of the Unique. Straight up. They had an awesome tap list at Mikkeller. But I stuck with Alpine Unique for my last 2 pours.

Looks like some activity on the Alpine Unique IPA on untappd from Mikkeller DTLA. Hope this one shows up at some more locations in OC and LA.

Keene Idea on tap from the Webcam incase anybody still drinks beer from them. There's an asterisk so I'm assuming it's limits but who knows what the symbols mean anymore on that idiotic board.

I'm glad they use letters for idiots like me who cant understand the board. Maybe they should add prices too like they used to so I don't have to ask what every beer costs. I mean Jesus christ even the shittiest breweries nowadays have tvs with menus n pricing yet alpine is using this kind of preschool board.

Anyways, 6 growlers per person huh.. Naw I'm good.

They're all $5 for a full pour. $1.25 for tasters. How could anyone be mad about that?

So every beer, regardless of abv is $5? BTW no one is mad bruh.. Side note.. I haven't been to alpine for a while so it's not like I know anymore the prices. Hence my statement about it.
