Does anyone know what this beer actually is?

RB lists it as an alias for Alpine's McWhatever Irish Red, and BA lists it as a separate beer. But then Toronado's website says they have Red Card on tap right now, which makes sense because they just brewed a batch of Red Card. So I'm confused.

    Cheers!

I'm fairly certain they are three different beers. I've had Red Card and Toronado Red recently and they aren't the same. I haven't had their Irish Red in a while but I remember it being styled like a traditional irish red with less of a hop presence. This is just my guess.

I know it is good. Had it at Toronado today. It is interesting though that I saw an empty keg in the back from Alpine with it saying Red Card on it. On Toronados board though it said Toronado Red.

Yeah, it said Toronado Red on the board. Plus this (almost a week old, though):

Toronado Red = McIlhenney's Irish Red
Red Card is a much different beer.

You happen to know why McIlhenny's is also called Toronado Red Mr. 84? My thirst for knowledge is quite insatiable.
