Duet and Pure Hoppiness are both better than Expo. So is Hoppy Birthday.

Whatever you speak of, it'd be great if it is ready this weekend. Please.

I hate to admit it, but I'm not on the PH band wagon, but since you say it is better, it must be.

Also, hoppy birthday is a great APA, but as an IPA, it just ok.

Glad to hear it. I love wet hope beers but Whale was very disappointing last year.

    Maybe it'll be a Nelson-style IPA with Citra wet-hopping.

    I can dream.

I think a good number of people would wet-hop themselves if this happened.

Please tell me they're calling itWhales, Bro and it will be an imperial version of Whale.

If they don't use that, then that's what I'm going to call my wet hop ale next year.

It's maybe the best APA. Exponential Hoppiness is, and I'm gonna ballpark this, somewhere between the 50th and 75th best imperial ipa.

    Obviously many disagree.

I don't even understand what it means to say that it's a great APA but just an ok IPA. That's like saying that Temptation is a great sour but a horrendously bad imperial stout.

This is a great thought, but just an ok post.

it's more like saying that bicycle pumps are great tools but horrendous examples of blue whales having sex in the night.

It seemed to me people were rating Apline IPAs and randomly throwing in a beer that was not an IPA. That is why I pointed it out like I did.

I also think ZD is a better APA but not by much.

Zombie Dust is in a league of its own. I like HB a lot but its nowhere near the level of ZD. Its all about the Citra.

    Cheers...

I actually prefer Hoppy Birthday to Zombie Dust, but that's mainly because it's really hard to get genuinely fresh Zombie Dust on the west coast, and Citra fades so fast.

Could not agree more. I am fortunate in that I have a friend who lives near FFF and I get them within days of release. When fresh its quite simply perfect for me. If I could get fresh ZD on a regular basis I would be a very happy camper.

    Cheers.......
