Does anyone know how to read the date code on Altenmunster flip top bottles? I won a bunch of half gallon flip top bottles of a Winter and Festbeir in an auction and I wanted to see how long they would last. On the printed label on the neck of the bottle there are a series of numbers, some have notches or punch-marks near them...for instance L 2 4 16 or L 1 8 16. Anyone have any ideas? The first example couldn't be Feb 8, 2016 or April 2, 2106, could it? Thanks!
