Well, somebody had to start it. I'm loving this batch of Contains no Juice, and my last cans of Pit Row and Row Your Oat were amazing as well.

Here's to ASB keeping up their momentum for hoppy beers that they started with Thunder in Paradise and continued with Nelson Baby, Juice Cruz, Dank Shake, Row Your Oat, etc.

Second on Row Your Oat. I'm a big fan of them venturing into releasing some IPA's brewed with Milk Sugar. Also love that it get's good distro and you don't have to wait in line to have access to top notch IPAs on a weekly basis

Do they have their can availability listed anywhere online? Looked at their website, didn't see anything.

I’ll be in Monterey next weekend, 18-20. Been to Alvarado St Brewery a few months back. Plan to visit that Saturday evening for my BDay. Friday is the wife BDay. Looking for recommendations for place to eat Friday night. In Monterey or surrounding area. We will have a car. We will fly in that Friday noon and rent a car. Plan to drive up to Santa Cruz for that afternoon before making our way back to Monterey for the weekend. Saturday we will be driving to Big Sur and back. So any recommendations please. Friday night after dinner we will stop in at Fieldworks. Hopefully both Fieldworks and Alvarado will have some cans and crowlers to bring home.
    Thanks y’all.

Where are you located? Many places in the bay area get distribution from Alvarado st

They break down between 'on tap' and 'cans' for each location listed. I find this list to be pretty accurate and up-to-date.

Alvarado St opened up a new restaurant/bar called Yeast of Eden in Carmel-by-the-Sea. I went a few days ago and would definitely recommend it. Great beer selection from AS, as well as nice guest taps with SARA, Beachwood, and some other great breweries. The focus is on Alvarado’s mixed fermentation program, so lots of saisons and wild ales. The Grisette I had hit all the notes. Great execution. The food is locally sourced international cuisine, with a bit of California flare. I believe they said that all the kitchen ingredients come from within 100 miles of Carmel. My beef vermicelli was great. The place is a bit swanky, put the prices are still fair enough IMO. check it out!

Cool. But is your wife’s and your BDay the same year? Ours is. So that puts her a day older than me. We’ll be flying from LAX to Monterey that Friday. Her sister and husband (my drinking bud) will be with us to help us celebrate the weekend. Never been to Santa Cruz. Only drove through on our way from SanFran to LA on previous road trips. So anyplace in Santa Cruz for dinner would be cool too. Ive already booked us a place in Monterey. Walking distance to Alvarado and Fieldworks area.

you completely missing out on Sante Adairius, i think you would dig their portal location, grub and great beer. and they can now! currently have an awesome can available, point being.

For food the crows nest in Santa Cruz is fantastic

Thanks for the heads up on St A. Didn’t know they had a tasting room in Santa Cruz. I’m not so much into specialty ales and farmhouse styles as I am into IPA’s and stouts. My good friend is head brewer at Beachwood Blendery and I’ve only been once. Lol. I’d rather stop next door at Beachwood BBQ n Brewing. But we will stop in to check it out.

Most of the taps at Sante’s Santa Cruz location focus on their hoppy beers and other beers that aren’t saison/mixed ferm beer. Right now they also have a brown ale, mild, ale, barleywine, pils. All of which are great.

Yeah, Sante Adairius hoppy beers are underrated for sure. I'd say they're much better than the namesake of this thread but that's just me...
