I have to be honest, Odell, Avery, Dry Dock, Great Divide, Ska, Upslope and New Belgium bottles would keep me happy for a nice long time. If I wanted something different I'd go have dinner at Vine Street or Bull & Bush

If the B&B would ever re-open their kitchen  The target date went from September to "early December" without a whole lot of explanation. Their website was last updated on Nov. 11 and promised "daily follow ups" from that point forward. Hopefully there isn't something wrong over there.

My fault, I retract my snarky remark.

Come on! Since the bros started cracking down, I've missed these total flame wars! Flame on, brosefs! Now I'm in upstate NY with no entertainment. Thanks, a lot.

Do you travel? That would make it very, very tough for me!

It is tough because I know there are better styles made from breweries like Firestone Walker, Deschutes, Stone and Sierra Nevada that I need in the mix!

I'm just a visitor from the Great Lakes forum but to me this seems equivalent to going on a diet when you aren't overweight or unhealthy

I gotta say. If you lived in North Dakota, you'd be insane. Here, not so much.

I could definitely do this in Cali, but I won't. Too many great beers around the globe.

I think a lot of this stems from the last few weeks of hitting up more local tap rooms. Kind of forcing myself to try out some stuff locally made that I otherwise would have passed up. I go to the store and I see all kinds of CO brew I've never tried and I'm tempted, but I end up passing them by for other stuff I know I like. Then I realized I'm probably missing out on a lot of great beers. As an example, always passed over Crazy Mountain until I went to a BBQ at a friends and I just grabbed those figuring his friends weren't totally beer nerdy like us, but I still showed up with "good beer". Then I drank a few and was like damn, this is actually good!

Pretty much it comes down to, without forcing my hand, I would continue to keep passing up stuff from here in favor of Firestone, or Deschutes, or Stone or what have you. Hopefully it also keeps me from bottle-hunting so much for the big rare releases and driving all over town to get stuff like Cantillon or Abyss. And again, I'm hoping it'll send me into more of the local smaller guys to try them out. My big idea for this came a few weeks ago having a great time at Echo and wondering "why don't I come here more??" Well, because I'm going to Back Country, or Cheeky Monk, or Falling Rock because they have XX on tap from someplace.

Dooblie....I can only imagine what you'll try to break me with lol I know whats down in that cellar

Now we have the website concept - every post is just a picture of your face every time someone drinks something awesome from outside of Colorado that you really want to drink, but can't. I bet you could find an out-of-state brewery to fly you out so you could go nuts on other stuff the day it ends. Do it.

Not a bad idea! Because my friends are total trolls and will probably stick all kinds of goodies in front of me like rare 'loons, Dark Lord, KtG, various Bourbon Counties....Now if a brewery were to fly me out to go ape-poo on their stuff when it ends, I'm sure I'll have a look similar to Tom Hanks in Castaway when he makes fire lol

Now are you talking about only drinking or drinking and buying CO beer for a year?

Still working out those details lol But I'm thinking only buying and drinking CO stuff.
