For those of you who live in Richmond, Virginia, you're probably familiar with the app started a year ago by a couple local guys, Trinkin. If you're not familiar with it, it allows you to search for beer availability, see what shops currently have available, and see what restaurants currently have on tap. It is limited to spots that have partnered with Trinkin, and is currently only being used in the Greater Richmond Area, but it is remarkable how addicted you become to the site when you're trying to find a brew, or see what is on tap before going to eat somewhere. These guys have only been running the site for a year, 1 year anniversary party is May 4th, but even though I sound like I'm a paid endorser of their product, I am just a big fan of what they're doing, and do use the site for my spot. I have pasted the link for the site below, if you want to see what I currently have on tap look up Sergio's  Cheers

Sounds pretty similar in functionality to BeerMenus which services a number of different cities/metro-areas.

Very true, beermenus' prevalence in Richmond is pretty much nonexistant, so great to have trinkin

Fellas, I just started this kickstarter project to gauge interest in the app that I'm building.
The project page explains it, but essentially we are supporting the craft brewers by making craft heavy menus a lot less intimidating for casual beer drinkers, and easier to manage for beer lovers. The way it works is you can take a picture of a beer menu (works for wine too) and get information for each beer on the menu.
Over time the app learns what you like and starts to recommend items from the menu.

We decided to build this app because here in Culver City we are starting to see menus like this one from City Tavern. AWESOME menu! But intimidating, especially for the uninitiated.

The support of this community would be greatly appreciated in the form of feedback, spreading the word, or any pledge amount.

Feel free to ask me any questions. I will be actively trolling these forums the foreseeable future.
