Barring a singularly unlikely collapse, there goes St. Totteringham's Day this season. Woeful. This calls for something bitter...

Hard fought match all around I think. Tottenham's two goals were result of Arsenal's mistakes rather than their own inventiveness. First 30 min made me very nervous.
Proper result though. <tips glass to Gunners>

Oh and since this is an amazing trader thread that we don't want deleted, I managed a Conwy Welsh Pride (thanks mtbdonn) and a Blacksheep ale

Another pathetic perfomance by Arsenal's back 4. ARGGHHH! Our ONLY summer moves should be for not 1, not 2 but 3 GREAT defensive stoppers. Period.
Kudos to Bale and Company... as much as that pains me to type that.

    Coffee Bender time! :grinning:

I wish a 5 hour trip was that easy right now but... it's not. I will be driving 45 minutes to New England Brewing in a couple of weeks though. Fresh Gandhi Bot time!

I've seen a particularly enlightning thread this afternoon:
    St. Totteringham's Day CANCELLED!
"Some traditional proverbs - He who gloats last gloats longest. A gloat in the hand is worth two in the bush, but my favorite would be 'It is better to have gloated and lost than to never have gloated at all' - very appropriate!
I do think we can afford to enjoy the end of Arsenal's 'silly little milestone'!"

St. Totteringhams day isn't cancelled yet. still 10 games to go... (*though it doesn't seem likely)

Oh, I know. Don't count those chickens. Remember last year? 1 point. I think they were singing praises early last year also.

Technically, last season was better than close. Only an anomaly and an archaic standings rule kept us out.
Just wait until next season. I think we'll have some things going for us, and some things might happen this summer. I've already heard the rumors about a double-striker hunt in order to show Bale some backing and try to keep him in the squad, but we also might be looking at an attacking midfielder (that is actually consistent), and my prediction is...Juan Mata. AVB is the one that brought him to Chelsea and since he's moved I think Mata might follow this summer. Man, that would be a worthy replacement for the hole left by Modric's exit!

    Cheers Donn!
