5 craft beer nerds. 32 American adjunct lagers. 1 winner. The tournament begins today at noon and should end around 6 tonight. Updates to follow.

Good luck tomorrow morning -- hydrate man, hydrate -- especially with all that adjunct!

No Michelob Golden Draft, or is that just a Minnesota/Midwest thing?

Big thanks to Downtown Wines & Spirits in Somerville for all your help in making this tasting possible. You guys rock.

No, I just want down the list of the top 32 reviewed AAL's on BA and tried to get as many as possible in my neck of the woods.

I'm going Landshark, Labatt, Coors, and Molson Final Four. Coors/Labatt finals. Labatt by a hair. And a horrible hangover.

Since Old Style and Stevens Point Special didn't make the cut give me the Hamm's. Can't go wrong with any of the traditional German WI classics.

Okay, I got my magnifying glass out. The competition, imho, is amongst Schlitz Gusto, Narragansett, and Batch 19.

Batch 19 looks poised to go very far, but Red Stripe just might be a dark horse. This is going to be blind, I assume?

Sadly, Old Style is largely unheard of and unavailable in the Northeastern US. Whenever I go back to the Midwest I always stock up on it.

For others following along, I found it helpful to right click on it and open in a new tab.

I had a Red Stripe at Wild Wings thinking it would be good with mango haberno wings, and I was wrong.

Oh well- I don't doubt that's true. Last time I had it was in Jamaica, so a case of genuine 'Red Stripe Effect' for me.

Still- looking at the bracket, it seems like it could sail until it meets Bud, and then who knows...

I'm the same way with El Presedente from the DR. Fond memory of a great vacation, and a long hot bus to Case de Campo and a few ice cold brews.

I can't see a thing is Michelob on the list?

Upper Midwest Thing. I think only the Dakotas ,Minnesota, Iowa and parts of Wisconsin get it

You can try boosting the font temporarily so you can read it.
