I'm about to crack open a Baltic Porter from American, and a couple of questions: The label is almost "generic" looking, plain white with black type, an anchor inside a circle as a logo, a pic of a GABF Bronze medal, and the words "Brewed and bottled for BPI byAmerican Brewing". Who is BPI? A local pub or store that ABC brewed the beer for? Only two other reviews here for the brew, how many y'all seen this? Anybody know the story?

Might have stumbled across 1 possible answer. Untappd has an entry for this beer under "Brouwer Polska", a distributor in the Seattle/Puget Sound area. Perhaps a "House beer"?

Turns out they used Chuckanuts yeast for this brew. I thought it was good, but liked Cnuts better. I'm OK with having both of them around though.:stuck_out_tongue:

Far as I'm concerned, it's always good to have a Baltic Porter around!
