American Craft Beer Week LIF

    In honor of beer week, and in thanks to Zeledonia for winning his LIF, I thought it was time to start my own.

    The celebration of craft beer this week has me thinking of when I moved into craft beer and away from other alcoholic mediums like mead and liquor. I even remember the exact moment I decided craft beer was for me. That is what this LIF is about. Shortly after turning 21 I went to my local college liquor store and bought three beers in three days (I didn't drink much then). The first day was my first craft beer, the second day got me hooked, and the third day exhibits how much more there was to learn. My questions are:

    1) What was the first craft beer I ever drank?
    2) What was the beer that got me into craft?
    3) What beer did I buy on the third day, where I did not know what I had and did not have the palate to appreciate?

    As usual, lower 48 only, one guess per person. I will give hints periodically, after which new guesses are allowed. The winner gets a 6 bottle shipper full of stouts! Good Luck!

    It took me a long time to go back to the 120 minute after my first experience early on in my non-BMC drinking. I honestly had to look in the mirror to see if my missing tooth enamel was visible to the naked eye. Cheers!
