No offense, I'm a huge fan of American craft beers. However, everytime I try American-Belgian beers (saison, abbey style...from America) I get disappointed and find out the greatness of Belgian beers. So, one of my favorite beer styles is Lambic, and especially Geuze. I think the difference from each beers feels subtle, but the subtle characters make huge different impression of the beer. I heard lots of great things about American lambic style beers like DDG or De Garde Broken Truck. Some say they are the best beer in the world, but some say they arent even near to low tier Belgian Lambics. If you had tried it, how was it? Also, what American Lambic did you like? If you didnt like it, why?
New Glarus Crambic sure was a great beer but being from Korea, you're probably SOL on that one unless you can find a trade buddy, as its only available in the state of Wisconsin. I just had a 3F Oude Gueze last night for the first time. Amazing beer.
