American IPA Poll Time!

I voted Two-Hearted. Never had Blind Pig, but reviews tell me I'm missing out on something special. I have forgotten my Jai Alai experience, since CC virtually dropped out of NY without a peep.

 

Never had Jai-Alai or Blind Pig, so...........Bell's.

In that exact order. I've done single IPA tastings that involved all but Blind Pig and it went down exactly in that order. I think Stone is underappreciated due to it's crazy availability; fresh Stone IPA is no punk.

It's all subjective, obviously, but I live in South Florida and have been drinking Jai Alai since it first hit stores and I still don't get the crazy response to this beer. It's good, especially since they started canning it, but it's not top tier.

My favorite from your list is Two Hearted. My favorite overall (remember this doesn't include Double IPAs) is Ithaca Flower Power.

 

CCB was once in New York? Is it ever coming back? I'm dying to try Jai Alai.

 

Yes. In fact some of my local stores still have stock (Maduro). Occasionally we'll see large format bottles, but not the ones folks cream over

I've had all 5 on the list. My answer is none of the above.

My favorite is Alpine Nelson!

Of the ones on the list, I liked Blind Pig the most.

 

You can get it online fairly easily. The 9/16 batch hit stores down here last week and it's everywhere right now. Worth trying, for sure. If you're getting Flower Power regularly, Jai Alai isn't going to blow your mind or anything.

 

Sadly I can get none of these in OK. Happily, I can get Stone & Bell's in Mizzou & consider both great/world class. Blind Pig always went down like mother's milk when I could find it in CO. I like 60 minutes. Jai aLai, I must revisit this summer in Fl had it at the source & it really didn't wow me... (thought I reviewed it)

 

I can only get two of these regularly, have had 4 out of five, and still prefer odell's ipa to all of them.
