Great article @JackHorzempa, I did not read that before.

They mention it in the article and it's fairly new, but damn is Trauger Pils a fantastic pilsner.

 

Yup, I am a BIG fan of Trauger Pils on tap. And now that they are providing dates for their canned products I might consider buying some of their canned Trauger Pils.

Yeah, a little letdown on the no dating, but the last 2 six packs I picked up tasted really fresh. Good to hear about the upcoming can dating, that's something I always look for nowadays. Now I have to seek it out on tap.

It may be the second hoppiest pils I've had next to Prima. It's really good.

 

Keith, I have only been drinking Trauger Pils on draft because heretofore Neshaminy Creek has refused to date their cans. The 'solution' they have of putting a little sticker on top of the plastic caps for the 6-pack holder is not ideal (they really should ink the bottoms of the cans) but a sticker date is better than no dating.

TJs Everyday has had Trauger Pils on tap a few times over the past 6 months.

Just wanna echo all the sentiment for Urban Chestnut Zwickel. Got the last 4-pack on the shelves last weekend at a big MA bottle shop and it's excellent. I do like their Hefe better, but Zwickel is good.

 

Yeah, I just hadn't tried it until a few weeks ago so I didn't know how good it was!
