    I am going to visit a buddy this weekend in Ames. Any good beer bar in the area that has something good on tap?

    The best beer selection is at DG's On Main Street. It's a hole, but good taps for Ames. Campustown...Welch Ave. Station. Ames bars are not that exciting...you're better off going to Cyclone Liquors and buying something to drink at home.
