I had a chance to drink a bottle of Epic Brewing Hop Syndrome Lager (Release #7) and it was one tasty beer! Below is from the Epic Brewing Company website:

"Epic Brewing Company making a session beer? The first summer release of Hop Syndrome Lager has a hoppy sweetness with an earthy, lemon aroma thanks to the French Aramis whole leaf hops we use in our hopback, and at just under 5% alcohol, is a beer that you can sip on all day without getting too full.

    The Grains/Malts
Weyermann Pilsner, Munich Malt Type I (Light), 2-Row Carapils Briess Malt

    The Hops
    Calypso, Crystal
    Hopback: Whole Leaf Aramis
    Dry Hop: Crystal, Calypso

    ABV 4.8%"

The Continental malts provides a very nice pilsner type malt backbone but it is the hops that really shine in this beer. I have not heard of French Aramis hops before but I am now of fan of these hops!

I highly recommend this beer to folks who like the American Pale Lager style.

    Cheers!

I personally haven't tried that one because I'm not a lager fan but I have to say that I'm a big fan of their Exponential Series Imperial IPA, have special ordered cases of this in the past.

I have not had that one, but being a lager fan I bought a 22 oz. bottle of a pils they make while in UT. It had diacetyl, but I managed to drink it in the 96F weather.

Haha got me there, I enjoyed it so much I am willing to make an exception. Same exception I made for the case of Heady I've been assaulting.
