Yes, then drive 30 minutes for Smog City, Phantom Carriage, Monkish...and then a little bit further for Beachwood BBQ.

 

This but the correct order is Bruery --> Bottle Logic --> Noble.

As for bottle shops, you only need to hit up one. Go to the Bruery and on the way out stop at Mr K's. Its right on the corner where the Bruery is. They get everything you can get at most other stores.

How to tell if you like IPAs more than anything else...Pick that order for OC.

 

Personally, I say the bruery, then noble, then bottle logic, but everyone has differing opinions.

 

I say Bruery then cab ride home.

 

You can bike via the Santa Ana River Trail to reach all those 3 breweries (Noble, Bruery, Bottle Logic) with ease. And Valiant is right along the trail too.

 

What's wrong with IPAs?

 

Nothing, just not my style. I was just making a statement that if anyone really picked Noble over the Bruery they had to be an IPA head. Noble obviously has some amazing IPA's but the Bruery easily beats them on every other beer style.

 

I love all types of beers and would pick Noble over the Bruery all day everyday. The Bruery might just be the most overrated brewery on the planet. They do have pretty labels though.

 

but...Naughty Sauce though...

 

Yes, it is quite delicious, but I would take MW over that any day of the week.

 

Man, this is a tough one. Noble stop for sure. For the hop heads and the naughty person. Just the color of Naughty Sauce is a trip. The ipa's on the board and then Naughty Sauce? Which one to start off with? I'll be there this Weds for a quick 1 or 3 glasses before a concert nearby. Hope the Sauce is still on.

 

Don't forget the Man's Milk! Worst name for a beer but I like it even better than the sauce.

 

The mind-fuckery I had when I got my first pour of Naughty Sauce was great. I actually asked them if they poured me an IPA instead. Good times.

 

Happy to say that I never tried it……yet. Just the name is kinda f'd up. Maybe I will try it when I'm there.

 

At least Naughty Sauce is available most of the time. I've never seen MW being poured at the Bruery.

Forget the name for a second and just drink it.

 

is there ANYONE out there in BA-land that thinks Golden Stout is as stupid a type of beer as Black IPA?? At least ONE? How many other breweries are doing this Golden Stout thing now? Stone did it. Faction does it. I'm sure there's a lot more though.
