My wife will be in town for work. She's looking for suggestions on restaurants in the area of the convention center. One night she will be having nice business dinner, so food/atmosphere matter more than the beer, but she would be pleased if it had a good tap list. Also, she's looking for a less formal dinner option to have with colleagues. Any help would be appreciated.
The Catch next to Angel Stadium is a good spot for the business dinner. Great food, good atmosphere, and good beers.
You have a number of choices as far as restaurants in the area. North of there you have Anaheim Packing House which host many food places and good craft beers. Maybe not the choice for a nice sit down dinner place. But maybe a good less formal place to check out. You have the Disney/Anaheim resort area in the area of the Convention center. Yes the above mentioned the Catch is a great option. Maybe they will pick up the tab. For beer only...Noble, the Bruery, Bottle Logic and Unsung which should be opening their doors this weekend Friday. Chapman is another new one in the area I believe. Not sure if their doors are open yet.
Recommended The Catch also. Then after she can ditch the business partners and walk to Noble and grab you a couple of beers for you doing the laundry while she was gone. That was not a sexist remark. I am positive most of us do the laundry. You just need to work the system right. I load, she folds.
Good suggestions so far. If she is staying AT the convention center - the Anaheim Marriott has decent restaurant, bar, and taplist.
