Any one been down there? I want to go this weekend, but I'm thinking it might be jammed considering they just opened. Also, is everything open yet?
Went there on a weeknight a couple of days after the grand opening. There were only a couple of spots open at the time, (fish n chips, popbar, wheat n sons). Not much foot traffic when I went. However, a weekend day/night could impact the traffic. Follow @packingdistrict on instagram if you have an account, they sometimes give a heads up when something is about to open up.
I went opening day and it was packed. So was Umami Burger. A lot of the vendors/restaurants were open: Iron Press, Pop Bar, The Chippy, Hans Ice Cream, etc. Iron Press had a pretty good tap list. They tapped BCBS that day.
I went last Saturday night. Got a couple of Bootleggers Knuckle sandwiches from Iron Press to walk around with. then had dinner at the Shabu Shabu place down stairs. looks like it will be a fun place to hang out once all of the shops open up. Lots of good beer on tap everywhere.
