Hopefully I can get another case this year, hopefully two.

 

For the bottle share, I'll likely be bringing some 2011 Barrel-Aged Hibernation Ale, Boon Geuze Mariage Parfait, and at least 1-2 other goodies that I'll leave as a surprise.

 

How are we supposed to match that?! JEEZ.

 

Never heard of that happening but I'm a relative new timer. I'd come prepared to stay awhile after you purchase bottles and spend some money on pizza and their taps and most importantly take care of their staff.

While their beer is excellent, the share itself is just an awesome time so a focus of bottle limits is really a bit like thinking about a grain of sand in the Mojave desert.

 

If I had a Bourbon vanilla Dark Lord, I'd bring it. Beer is for sharing.

If anyone wants to do a trade though, hit me up. I went thru my cellar the other day and listed out what I'm willing to trade. I'm dying to get a BB Hellfighter. Are they still drinking well?

 

Maybe I can bring a Sucaba? Maaayyyybe a Black Crack and/or some 2012 Chocolate Oak Aged Yeti. A tiny probability that I'll bring some 2010 Double Bastard, because it's my baby. My baby forever. But maybe!

dewd! I have 2012 Choc Oak Aged Yeti too! It just recently hit the 1 yr mark.

I just remembered I have a friend in Colorado with access to 2-3 bottles of Deschutes 24th birthday reserve. Asked him to pick em up quick. If he gets 2 or more, I'd be down for trading 1.

 

I had one of those (choco) babies in late February or early March--it was *a lot* better than I remember it being fresh. I'm always up for Black Butte Anniversaries, of course! Totally missed out on bottles this year in Austin... judging by the time The Abyss took to get here, who knows when it came out @_@.

 

I passed up on a bottle at HEB sugar land. Sat there on the shelf for nearly 3 weeks. I hope a BA picked it up. I have one that I've been saving since last year in my special cellar.

 

BBXXIV literally sat at HEB Escarpment for 3 months. True story.

Southwest Austin hates craft beer. They're more into soccer balls and Barefoot Chardonnay.

 

What. The. Fuck. I guess I just didn't know where to look. Luckily, you guys have helped me out a lot on that front.

 

Oh, and Lutter: I'm way too tired after today to check the first page of this thread, but are you going to this? Did you ever get that Sucaba? If not, you could at least try some when we're all around.

 

I already had 3 bottles by that point, actually... lol.
