Val Kilmer. He is in arguably better shape at this time. Plus he played Moses in The Ten Commandments: The Musical.

I saw you from afar, and heard you introduce yourself to someone, but never could get around the crowd to say hello. Next time!

I'm pretty much just now waking up. What a wonderful time! Pleasure meeting and remeeting some of you. I wish I got around to meeting more but I got caught up trying to out disgust a couple people, Kendra mostly. Sadly I lost that battle, you sick bastards.

What a huge and beautiful turnout. I can't wait to get to more Freetail releases. I'd like to give a "shout out" to Glen's ass! Thanks for mooning me in the parking lot. You gave me a dream, that turned into a nightmare, that turned into something wet.

Sorry for the stupid question, but: If I keep them out of the light, should Ananke be a-okay to store at room temp? I keep the A/C at about 70, give or take a few degrees. I expect that it should, but figure that it'd be good to check. I... am kind of out of room in my refrigerator. (I am very glad that my roommate doesn't keep much food in there.)

bottle release started at 11am so 2 hours it was gone. I believe that is a first for 700 bottles for freetail. I do believe they should have enforced the tickets better IMO.

The cuvee de tomme clone was done by 11 zealots. They all brewed 5 gallon batches and blended them in to a barrel. The same barrel was used for the first batch cuvee de tomme clone batch 1, second use was a temptation clone, and third use was back to the cuvee de tomme. I believe the second batch of cuvee was better then the first batch. The mind behind the yeast strains was Eric Lowe (he is soon opening the meridian hive meadry here in austin) Be on the lookout. He does amazing stuff as well. Had their sparkling mead the other day and was mind blowing.
Zealot should have a russian imperial stout and a wee heavy that was aged in BCBS barrels coming soon. They are aging at jester king right now. Hopefully they do not get infected  The throw away bottles and do not open more was bullshit. But im guessing it was because the lack of our efforts to cleanup the last few times.

We did have quite the mess going on the patio. Scott probably had to rent a pressure washer today. They had to start the cleanup somehow and trying to negotiate with us drunks is a task that I would not have wanted. Could have it gone easier? Possibly, if I was the person who had to clean it would I be nice about it? Probably not. Scott could always tell us to fuck off in the future and not allow bottle shares but I hope not.

I think I just hurt my dad's feelings. I told him about the beer over text, he offered me "one 120 Minute" for it and I laughed at him. LOL. Told him I'd crack one when he's here next time.

At least today is Mother's Day an not Father's Day. If my Dad enjoyed craft and offered me that, I would have sent a message to a trade partner that I couldn't help them out on this one. The day I laugh at my Dad over beer is the day I deserve to get hit by a bus.

Just wanted to thank you for sharing the HT. It was awesome. You sir, are a very generous individual. BTW, I was the guy hanging out with Grendel in case your memory turned cloudy.

Tell me about it. My father and father-in-law drink about 2/3 of my beer. Lol

First you make promises about being able to punch you in the face, and now you allude to me being able to run you over with a bus. Why do you keep teasing me? :astonished:

I'd say it would be ok. Hop forward beers benefit from refrigeration as to preserve the hoppy goodness. Last years Ananke is rated at 10 IBU'S and that is hardly a hop forward beer. But I could be wrong. Someone chime in if my statement needs correcting.

Haha, sorry Ken! Someday you will get your chance to inflict some sort of pain on me!

I might be have been a bit harsh but the thought of laughing at my Dad and then posting about it on a website as if was funny or cool really rubbed me the wrong way. My Dad does not drink craft at all but last year on the opening day of baseball season, there was a box of Narragansett beer on my porch from him. My Dad is a bad ass!
