Depends on how many graduates. My graduation took about 2.5-3 hours between the 5000 graduates receiving their diploma and speeches. So boring, ugh.

I am contemplating coming out, even considering making a weekend of it, shall see if the boss gives me Saturday off. I will bring a nice cooler full as always....not sure which way I will go with it yet. Up for IP trades if anyone is interested, cellar is completely up to date, minus some uncatalogued old cases hiding in the back of my bedroom closet...!! https://docs.google.com/file/d/0BzS8effqx-scMU0yQ2pSXzA4eUk/edit?usp=sharing

And before y'all start talking shit, ignore all old IPAs, I sometimes trade so much, can't help that some get stuck behind.... :/

Interested in trading a BBPt5, Kabert, Black Albert or Black Tuesday?

Also, the Kickin' Chicken is indeed infected. Funny thing is now Santa Fe claims on their site that they intentionally put it next to some wild ales to see what happened. That statement wasn't on there when it first came out. lol I have an extra one that I need to find the courage to open.

Whatcha' offering? yeah, it sucks about the kickin' chicken, I am giving it a year minimum before I crack mine, see if it settles out. Send me a message on FB, I won't have a chance to get back on BA tonight, I work until after 11.

Yeah, definitely a funny story. The SA crew opened one recently and it really wasn't all that bad.

Yeah. But it really wasn't all that good either.

I dumped mine. I gotta manage my beer calories and that one wasn't worth the extra time on the treadmill. Lol

Yea I can't imagine a brewer willfully doing that. The normal CK is pretty dang tasty but while I got thru my bottle I didn't enjoy it. Perhaps Santa Fe stored their barrels next to Ranger Creeks.

Yeah I almost don't want to go. It's only my associates from SAC. I'm hoping there aren't too many graduates so it doesn't take too long.

LadyOfMuchBeer: PM'd on facebook, but it wanted to make me pay a dollar to contact you, so it'll be in your "other" folder. Thanks, facebook!

Can I have that $1 feature too so annoying people from high school stop inviting me to events in Florida. You'd think after 8 years of being in Texas, they'd get a clue.

I know this sounds really bad but hypothetically if I were to fly to SA for the Ananke release...and perhaps smell somewhat mildly/strongly of alcohol but am acting "normal" is it ok to board a plane, specifically SW? Any personal experinces, eye witness accounts, etc?

Obviously I am contemplating (not too hard though) flying in for the release and leaving on the same day. I don't plan on getting hammered at the tasting but I would definitely be having a few beers. The last thing I want is to get denied by security or SW because I smell like beer, even though it will be delicious good beer.

I feel like if you're acting normally, there shouldn't be any problem... then again, "reason" isn't exactly the biggest determiner of policy when it comes to flying.

Yeah, but I deal with people all the time who have been drinking and breath mints don't help. I really don't want to think it would be that big of a deal but I've never boarded a plane smelling like alcohol and nowadays I'm thinking it may not fly, no pun intended.

Considering people often get smashed on the plane I think you'll be okay. lol

I've had a few beers in an airport bar and then boarded a plane with no issues, and I've seen people denied because they smelled of alcohol and might be "disruptive", so it can go either way. Prolly depends on a combo of how you present and how gung ho the employees are.

    But you should go.
