    Any BA'ers attending this years Culmination Festival on August 22nd at Anchorage Brewing? I'm excited to visit the new brewery as well as Anchorage in general (first timer). Would be interested in a bottle share sometime that weekend if others are interested...

    There are about a dozen or so Anchorage BAers that I know going to the Culmination. We can always rustle a good group for tastings. Count me in!

    Thursday - Brett IPA and Sour Tripel release 5 PM at Midnight Sun - brand new beers
    Saturday - Jane's Addiction at Mooses Tooth 19th Birthday Party - they'll have a new birthday beer

    Can't wait!...might have a bottle of R&D Wild Barrel I could bring up or other locals if anyone is interested in a bottle share.

    Also, heading down to Seward for a couple days on the same trip. Any suggestions on places to stay / restaurants, etc. from locals?

    Bottle share could be possible. Any TG Assasin or KBBS laying around? Bring it along. As far as Seward the holiday inn is right on the water and close to the railway cantina where the burritos are amazing and they serve a few local beers. But the most important thing in Seward is the burritos, oh and the scenery and junk

    Sadly I was in anchorage a week before this fest, but I did make it to ABC's taproom and it's pretty glorious. Incredible beers. I had this sour collaboration with Hill Farmstead called Improv that was outta this world. Love Buzz and Bitter Monk are also both top notch.

    how did it go? any highlights?

    looks like side project, casey and de Garde did not hold back. id love to go to a fest with derivation, broken truck and fruit stand on tap, christ!

    this is one fest i hope to make some day

    Was in the day after and tried the Deal with de Molen. Really great beer and I'd love to see some make it's way down south. Fingers crossed.

    yeah. we got leftover bottles down here in Juneau last year, but looks like it's just Fairbanks and Anchorage this year...

    Yep leftovers all around Anchorage. I liked this years, but wish they would have utilized the parking lot and spread it out a bit. Very packed at points in the two storage rooms.
