Anchorage Deal With the Devil...anyone know if it will be distributed in NorCal?

    I know this will be a small distribution, but I was curious if anyone knows if we are getting any in the Bay Area?

    EDIT: And also does anyone know if the Bay Area will be seeing the Anchorage/Grassroots Arctic Soiree?

    hey paul! i would asume so. he have seen all of their bottles so far, hopefully the trend continues! I havnt heard about soiree, but if their collab saison made it down id imagine that would make it down as well

    1800 bottles produced, being released at/around the time of the Alaskan Barleywine fest, so I imagine they might keep most of those bottles in alaska for the locals/attendee's of the fest. If they do give distro to us it will probably be pretty limited, maybe city beer or Toronado will get some.


    ***speculations of mine are based on the bottle count/events/release day

    I wouldn't assume the bottles with be released at the same time as the fest. Last year ABC had draft only at the beer & Barleywine fest. And at the Culmination fest, ABC had bottles of Darkest Hour, but that didn't hit the shelves until a month later.

    There's lots of good Deal with the Devil info on ABC's facebook page in the discussion under the photo announcing the release.

    150 cases is nothing. I really doubt this leaves Alaska. There are more than 200 places that focus on Craft beer in California. If everyone got only a case, they wouldn't have enough to go around.

    Myself and a few coworkers went out Tuesday morning to find some. Impossible. People lined up for hours before stores opened. Managed to get my hands on a few. I tried it on tap at Humpys. THE BEST IVE EVER HAD!!!

    Last I was told, there were only 20 cases in Alaska. I know of 17 that have been bought.

    Thats crazy! Anchorage just posted that 63 cases are heading this way, but I doubt SF or San Jose will see any. :slight_frown:

    If you hear or see any let me know! :slight_smile: I am hoping a case or two make it down to the South Bay. Even if a place got a case it would be gone within 10mins, hopefully not though.
