Just saw this posting from Shikes: http://blogs.westword.com/cafesocie..._brown_leaving_after_six-and-a-half_years.php He and Marty Jones really turned the Wynkoop around. For a while they were really floundering, at least on the beer front. If he were to open a new brewery in the area, he'd get my business.
Heard about this off the record last month. I know where he's going, but can't say. Really looking forward to it though.
Agreed. Wynkoop was average at the time he arrived, but with the increase of beer population and knowledge, he helped 'Koop evolve. (Still sad the Silverback smoked porter was dq'd)
It's not my place, and it was all off the record. I only mentioned it as I'm excited about what I heard.
