Anyone know the when Lost Abbey Angel's Share (Bourbon) gets released? I love this beer fresh but have no idea what its release schedule is.

    Thanks

I think last year was mid-June. Not 100% though.

Last year they released the bourbon aged version. Shouldn't this year's release be brandy aged?

I just opened a bottle of Angel's Share only to find that it is completely flat. There isn't the slightest hint of head or any bubbles at all. Is this normal?

This is why I posted. I have had it on tap and its amazing, but bottles have been flat. Was hoping at least a very fresh bottle won't be as flat.

There have been like a dozen releases in bottles. I think two or three of the releases have had any carbonation... I is delicious when done right though. Tis a real shame

Edit: 08 bourbon was a little over carbonated, but fantastic. Grand Cru was also carbonated. Some claim it is infected, but all three bottles I've had were outstanding.

That is really disappointing considering I spent somewhere between $15-$18 on that bottle.

Regardless of how great is tastes on tap, I would not buy a bottle of it. Lost Abbey seems to have some serious issues regarding the carbonation of Angel's Share for the last few years.

I just opened my a 2012 Brandy Barrel and it's completely flat, sour and tart. I'd love for them to get it right, but after paying 18 bucks for a drain pour, I can't say I'm willing to risk it until I know they got it right.

Deliverance was mighty good this year. Brandy Angels Share blended with Bourbon Serpent Stout or something like that. It had carbonation and was flawless.

Just drank this tonight - it was very good.

^^ Ditto. I hope my bottle is good!

I paid $17/375ml for a Red Poppy from them and it tasted nothing like a Flander's red.
