I have some angels share on hand and was just curious as to whether this trades 4$4 or if it is considered more rare than that.
Have people forgiven Lost Abbey for flat Angel's Share? That's probably the greatest hurdle to better than $4$. Though, I'd otherwise guess $4$ since I've seen Angel's Share bottles on the shelf in Washington. Unless you're talking about Grand Cru, at which point, I've no idea.
$4$ for really good locals or seasonals. I saw a bunch of it on the shelves in Atlanta while I was there in April, very surprised. I guess I remember a few years back when this was a much tougher to get brew.
Not sure how it would trade, it can be found on the shelves in most places, the same 12 bottles have been sititng at my local spot for the better part of a year.
Huh, alright, so nevermind then. Also, how the heck do you tell the difference between Bourbon and Grand Cru? they look the same on the BA profiles.
That's weird i haven't had an infected bottle yet. I had close to 12 bottles and im down to my last 3. I just had a bottle in the last 2 months and it was amazing. Could it go down hill that fast?! Might need to open one this weekend.
Its kinda hit or miss, but out of the 6 bottles I've had, 4 were infected. Tart, dry, and a thin shell of the angels share base that it was supposed to be. Many reviews of ASGC also mention infection. But a lot say it was fine. Like I said, its kind of a gamble. Edit: I don't think its a matter of going downhill, it seems that it was a small population of bottle infections.
I know you're being funny, but bubbles after shaking is from agitation and doesn't say anything about carbonation.
If you're lucky enough to have an infected Brandy Angel's Share that is purely delicious, but just the flat one is not so good. The only way to tell the difference is to drink it.
