Another Bruery Stress Test

Still waiting to pay after selecting a shipping method, down to 14 minutes...not looking good.

EDIT: I actually decided to open a new page in my browser to see what would happen (vs. using the old window that I started in that was still loading), and it had my CR still in my basket and was working lightning fast...I was able to pay and checkout in less than a minute.

 

My screen refreshes alternate the prices from $99.99 and $84.99.

 

they removed it like fifteen minutes ago

Are you guys having better success on the grid page or the individual beer's page?

 

Looks like site is working, Finally got my cart to check out. Got 1 Cuir and 1 Cotton and 1 Flight Coupon.

 

I am guessing the 6 Geese being out of stock is an error? Previous versions have been around for months.

Yeah, if I refreshed the page the price would just bounce back and forth between 79.99 and 99.99. Shows as out of stock each time.

 

It is back up. A lot of other non-Stress Test beers are disappearing and reappearing

 

Only beer I was looking to grab was Two Turtle Doves, but unfortunately I didn't get home til 10:30. At that point the site was moving fine, but the good stuff was gone.

 

I hope a Bruery insider can shed some light on if everything is indeed sold out or if theres just a bunch of people with full carts just holding on to it... :-)

 

during the last stress test i was able to get a BA4CB about an hour after it started, presumably after it dropped out of someone's cart.

 

As we approach the next hour, I'm crossing my fingers for that scenario.

 

Sounds like an error in session handling, and I had noticed the same thing when it logged me out without any intervention on my part. Could be related to the load balancing that they put in place, or could just be some poorly written code somewhere in the site.

Either way, I'm glad that I won't be fighting for bottles during the public BT sale, because they don't seem to have things resolved.

 

1 of my friends did, splitting it 4 ways. Still $30, crazy.

If the images for the items still appear, but you get an out of stock message, it is because all the items have been added to people's cart but not yet paid for. You may start to see items become available again now that some of the early 'abandoned carts' are expiring.
