I have to go with number one. So many beers from breweries i'll probably never try.

wow... i picked #2, but am wondering if I made the right choice, considering i'd have to chose a particular brewery. It has been said, but they would have to rep both ale and lager styles correctly as well as have barrel-aging of at least imperial stouts & barley wines.

    who fits this description???!??

The two I can think of that come closest would be Hill Farmstead and Russian River (the former a bit more than the latter). And there might also be some European breweries that cover a similar spectrum, but their IPAs would be questionable. Since I've never had a HF beer, it would be difficult for me to commit a lifetime of drinking only their stuff. Someone will need to ship some to me to make this decision easier.

#1, tough call though. The deciding factor for me would be that I absolutely love so many beers that in just one year, I would have no problem with it. I just have to insist that 22oz bombers and 750ml bottles are part of it.

I never said only 12oz or 16oz containers. For me, most nights a bomber or 750 is a single serving. So I'll allow bombers and 750s, but not multiple containers. My poll, my rules.

Well, a 100bbl fermentor or brite tank is a single container. And that doesn't even count the sampler size 15.5 gallon keg.:grimacing:

Number two here, I refuse to drink beers that I'm pretty darn sure are sub-par/bad just because it's something I haven't tried yet ( In My opinion, tickers must have some kind of self loathing )

"impossible choice" Neither, I would do repeats if I went with number one, and would not limit myself to just one brewery, so I can't go with number two.

    I've never been "branded".

I think it has more to do with a lot of people not being able to find a single brewery that they could realistically commit to under choice 2, but I agree, this is a lot closer than I imagined it would be. Reminds me of Bush v. Gore. I still haven't voted yet, and it's my poll.
Up to you, but the point of the thread is simply to have some fun with a completely unrealistic hypothetical choice.

I definitely had trouble picking one of the options, but I had to choose one beer and no repeats. That is what makes beer fun and exciting, trying new and different beers/styles, otherwise wed limit ourselves to a very narrow field. Continue trying new brews and do not judge it by its style, smell, look or bottle and enjoy beer, cheers!

Hmm... 62 votes vs. 62 votes. So I'm guessing 62 Untappd users. Haha.
