What happens if you choose #2 and a meteor destroys the brewery?

Maybe I'm spoiled by the current state of the beer world. The variety, the innovation, the evolution are truly exhilarating. I have my favorites, my standbys, my "house brands"... but how could I limit myself? Some many new beers, so much progress...

What's cool is how close the poll is (nearly 50/50 as I write). Fascinating...

I took the post literally, and could no chose between one or the other. Ambivalence...

Good question. FFF has solid stouts, ipas, and...skullole. I could drink BVDL everyday alone. TG has no sours or they'd be in the running. If Perennial and Side Project were combined due to having the same brewer... 3F and Cantillon are amazing but one style only...

FFF and suffer for sours (other than the ones that remove tooth enamel)

While it would suck to get to shave a particular outstanding beer just once, the chace of finding something that reminds you of a certain moment would be fun.

Hmmm... I wouldn't be able to live with either, so my vote is for # 1.5.

1, trust me too much of anything will make you tired of it. Plus if this was the general rule it would make it much easier to get whales, because even though it says BCBS 2014 it is still BCBS so everyone would benefit from 1

That truly is difficult because I do 1 right now but also if nj had a brewer like say Sierra Nevada or founders then I'd pick the second. I can't get every beer each f those makes in NJ. Sierra Nevada would have everything I'd ever want I voted number two since I can get any and all of flying fish beers living 20 minutes from the brewery even. They have a stout. A saison. An ipa etc... Basically one of each style. I'm good with that.

It was a tough choice, but I voted for #2. Still haven't decided which brewery I would stick with (maybe FSW) so I could always get their bomber specialty beers every year. If my wife picks #1, does that mean I could at least sample her ticks, hypothetically? Of course, she'd never go for it since all she ever drinks is Carton Boat and Founders All Day. Tough choice but, yeah, #2.

So when I find a really good beer I can't have it again, screw that noise. Many breweries produce multiple styles so there is no chance of getting bored if I pick a great brewer. So, it's the second choice for me (I wasn't going to say it's number 2 for me, you don't need me to explain that) and you'll find me at Bell's sucking on some Amber, Two Hearted, Expedition Stout etc etc etc

Have to go with #1, simply because there are so many beers out there I haven't had. Therefore I am not qualified to chose one brewery to drink the rest of my life. Not to mention there are going to be countless new breweries opening up that have yet to exist (what if you were presented with this choice 30 years ago). #1 is the logical choice in my opinion.

Choice #1 here. Some breweries do IPA's well but do Saison's badly. Other breweries do Hefeweizen well, but do Brown Ale's badly. There aren't many breweries which do everything well. On the other hand, picking the top beer of even a mediocre brewery can yield some success, which leaves us to beg how good a top beer from a top brewery can be.

Going with #2. Now the brewery choice, originally I was thinking Founders, then Stone, but I think I'm gonna have to go with Founders. Unlimited KBS? Yes, please!

Where I live (its not Wisconsin), there's not a lot of rotating beers. Thus I go with number one.
