another liquid concoction (tonic water syrup)

I know this isn't extactly homebrew talk but I know many of us have other hobbies that deal with different beverages (wine making, mead, coffee etc). For you homebrewers out there that like tonic water, I ended up making my own tonic water syrup after googling this several weeks ago. It's very easy and much much tastier than what you can buy. Good on its own or with your favorite gin. On top of that if you keg like I do, you can even carbonate your own seltzer to go with the syrup. I loosely based my recipe on these links:
